Mark Deubel, better known as ‘Doobles’, is a Navy and Airforce veteran that served proudly on missions across the globe before he chose a civilian life in engineering. For over 20 years he worked in various engineering roles building his technical expertise and leadership skills in technologies ranging from electrical, mechanical and satellite technology all the way through IT and project engineering.
By a twist of faith, he moved his career into technical recruitment and has had the privilege of scaling up two global tech startups by building high-performing teams, witnessing firsthand how the power of a strong team and the importance of finding the right people for the job helped these companies grew from startup, to scale up, through their IPO and beyond.
Throughout his career he had the opportunity to train recruiters and recruiting teams, sharing his insight and strategies for identifying and hiring top talent including collaborating with key stakeholders.
Having the honour to speak at multiple global events, he shares his knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned with others in the field.
As a military veteran and former engineer he brings a unique perspective and a commitment to excellence in everything he does.
